NextAmp Electrical (VIC) Pty Ltd, ABN 20 690 202 870, is a licensed electrical contractor based in Ringwood, Victoria. Our electrical contractor licence is REC-36609. This policy explains what we do with your personal information when you contact us, ask for a quote, or have work done. Any questions, contact Patrick Johnson on 0408 691 145 or patrick@nextampelectrical.au. Last updated 19 August 2026.
We only collect what we need to quote and do the work. That is your name, your phone number, your email address, the address where the work is happening, details about the job including photos of the site, and payment details when you pay an invoice. If you fill in an enquiry form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the name, phone number and email address you submit plus your answers to the questions on that form. We do not collect sensitive information such as health or financial history, and we have no reason to.
We use your information to quote your job, book the work in, turn up at the right place, order the right materials, issue your invoice, take payment, issue your Certificate of Electrical Safety where the work requires one, contact you about your job including following up a quote, and ask you for a review once the work is done. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
We share your information only where we need to. That means Energy Safe Victoria when a Certificate of Electrical Safety is required, ServiceM8 which is the job management software we run quotes and invoices through, Xero for our accounting, Microsoft 365 which hosts our email, other trades on your job where the work has to be coordinated, and our accountant for tax purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Our software providers store data on servers that may be located outside Australia. We choose established providers who take security seriously, but we do not control their systems.
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technology, including the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms. This tells us how people find and use our site, and lets us show our ads to people who have visited it. We also advertise on Facebook, Instagram and Google. If you fill in a lead form on one of those platforms, that platform handles your information under its own privacy policy as well as ours. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
We keep job and invoice records for at least seven years because tax law requires it, and safety certificates for as long as Victorian electrical safety regulations require. Enquiries that never became a job are deleted once there is no realistic chance of the work going ahead. Your information is held in password protected accounts and only Patrick Johnson and NextAmp employees who need it for their work have access. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring 0408 691 145 or email patrick@nextampelectrical.au and we will sort it out at no charge. We may need to keep some records after a deletion request where tax law or electrical safety regulations require it, and we will tell you if that applies. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first. If you are still not happy you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992. If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
